PSO Zone
Screen Capture (Gamecube)

Phantasy Star Online is a great DC game by Sonic Team/Sega.

How to take a GC capture

To take a PSO capture (or snapshot) on GameCube PSO, you need a memory card with 15 blocks free inserted into slot B (the right hand one) on your GameCube.

You have to go to the "Options" screen, then "Snapshot" and it will create a blank PSO image as the capture.
You are now free to take GC PSO captures anytime you like... well not quite. You can't take captures whilst at the bosses, or whilst playing an online (and perhaps offline too) quest.

Insert a controller into slot 4 on your GameCube, or the coloured socket on your ASCII Keyboard Controller.
Now use the following on the controller to take captures (most of this info can be found on page 7 of your GC PSO: Ep 1 & 2 manual!):

Converting image into a .png file

To convert your image saved on to your memory card into a .png file simple follow these instructions:

This new ISP is now saved as your selected provider. Simply go back in to the game and select "PSO Homepage" from the main menu and you will be taken to a website (the one listed as the proy server) where you simply fill in your details and upload your image data.
The site will now send you an email to the address you provided with a .png file as an attachment... this is your GC PSO Snapshot ;)

Once you have converted your picture, do not forget to go back in to your the "Provider Option" menu and reselect your ISP info (eg. provider 1). You will have to click "Edit" and go through all the pages of provider 1's info to get to the end where you can save it... othewise the GC will still think you want to use the "PSO Snapshots" ISP, and you won't be able to access the PSO Homepage to update your Hunters License via your GameCube.
